These are Almirah's signature prints — designs that have been in our collection for years, that return every season sometimes with a new or old tone because they are requested every season, that are recognised and asked for by name by children who have grown up with them. That’s slow fashion. And we are part of a whole new generation that’s promoting it. Young little ones!
They are not trends. They are ours to make. And yours to have memories with. Each one was designed in our New Delhi studio and hand block-printed or screen-printed by artisans. Each one has a story — a craft tradition, an inspiration, a reason it looks the way it does. They come in baby sizes, kids sizes, women's sizes and men's sizes. They can be mixed and matched for the whole family.
Haathi March
Our elephants. Marching in cheerful formation since the early days of Almirah, 15 years ago. One of our most iconic and loved prints – a must have for any new baby, adult it comes in both blue and pink and sometimes a limited drop of a fun colour too! It has also gone into many nurseries to make them extra cosy and brought up a whole generation of little ones there!
This is the print that started our design journey… and our customers (the little ones) show no sign of it stopping.

Llama
Our bestselling print. Many years running. No signs of stopping. He’s famous now. Our llamas, is from Bankura in West Bengal, designed in our studio and have the tufty ears, expressive faces and slightly naughty expressions that children love. The Llama is available for kids and women's — and the two together make one of our most beloved matching sets.
Kids tend to request it for every birthday, every holiday, Christmas and even every time the old set is outgrown. Each of our llamas is standing tall, with a slightly naughty expression makes the print so characterful and so beloved.
Dino
Prehistoric creatures given an Indian craft twist. Our Dino is a Almirah-art dinosaur — bold, characterful, with the depth and texture that only come from the fabrics we work with. Children who are obsessed at age 2 are still in love with it at age 10. Nice to enrich childhood of so many little ones with the rich prehistoric heritage of India where major dinosaur fossils have been found in Maharasthra, Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh! Our Dinos, are bold and characterful and add a fun flavour to bedtime stories! Available for kids.

An auto… a rik… An Auto rickshaw. The most Indian thing we've ever made. A three wheeler that makes us go wheeeeeeee !!!
